EasyBusy Sàrl is a Swiss startup that set out to digitalize property transactions — replacing the traditional broker model with a smart, self-service platform tailored to Swiss regulations. The goal: let buyers and sellers transact property independently, guided by AI-based assistance at each step.
Challenge
The concept was ambitious: a DIY platform covering the full transaction lifecycle — registration, listing, marketing, negotiation, and closing — adapted to the specific legal and regulatory context of Switzerland, and available in multiple languages.
The initial scope was too large for a fast MVP launch. One of the early challenges was helping the client make the difficult cuts needed to reach market quickly without sacrificing the integrity of the core business process.
Solution
Edgica provided full-cycle software development, starting with three weeks of intensive discovery — workshops and working sessions with EasyBusy representatives to build a complete picture of the business process, requirements, and scope.
Scoping the MVP was a critical early outcome: working with the client, we reduced the MVP scope by half while preserving the end-to-end flow — listing, marketing, negotiation, and deal closing all remained intact, just leaner.
From there the project moved through:
- UX/UI design using Adobe XD, refined across several iterations with client input
- Front-end development — a single-page Angular application with responsive, cross-browser, mobile-compatible interface
- Back-end development — Python/Django with REST API, background task processing via Celery and RabbitMQ
- Cloud deployment — hosted on a Swiss cloud provider with Amazon AWS services, containerised with Docker; managed by Edgica DevOps
Development ran in agile sprints, with the client team embedded in the process — including several two-day on-site workshops in Kyiv that proved valuable for keeping expectations aligned. The business process and backlog were revised three times during MVP iterations as understanding deepened.
After the MVP launch, the project continued through multiple subsequent phases, with Edgica delivering new versions over more than a year, followed by ongoing maintenance and support.
Result
A complete, multi-language property transaction platform live in Switzerland, covering the full buyer–seller journey from listing to deal closure. The platform gave EasyBusy a strong technical foundation to pursue its mission of making property transactions broker-free.
Based on our very specific innovative application development and support requirements, the Edgica team has constantly delivered levels of commitment, domain knowledge, technical skills, reliability and quality of service, which have all contributed to the creation of our important and strategic Real Estate business platform.
